Winston Wächter Fine Art is pleased to announce our participation in the San Francisco Art Fair 2025. Featuring a selection of our represented artists who are all pushing the bounds of audience engagement. Our booth includes a wide range of textures, mediums, identities, and colors, all sharing the common goal of inviting the viewer to take a moment out of their day to be drawn into the world of the work.

We invite you to explore Kandis Susol's rhythm of handmade paper encaustic sculptures, finding meaning in that which appears delicate but stands on its own. Consider the subject and intricate craftsmanship of Ethan Murrow whose detailed work can be equally enjoyed up close and conceptually from afar. In the world of abstract emotional work, no more impact is made than by Peter Gronquist, who translates deeply human ideas to large-scale mixed media sculptures that take up the room.

Some of our artist's greatest source of engagement lies in the revealing of their process. Spend some time with Sara Genn's 'My Heart is a Thousand Colors' series, whose simplicity hides a highly skilled handpainted meditative undertaking. In a similarly manual practice, photographer Aaron Leitz crosses over into the world of the painterly by layering cellophane in squares of color and taking a photo from above, creating an illusion of a Joseph Albers-inspired color study.

Brian Sanchez explores abstractions of color and form on the canvas, using vinyl emulsion to create a matte finish from which the colors can interplay and dominate the space. Off of the canvas and into the room, Matt Gagnon harnesses color abstractions in the vertical, using glass, concrete, and other mixed media to create dramatic stacks that light up and transform the world around them.

This selection of work is a showcase of the range and strength of our current roster of artists, all of whom are engaging with the work, the world, and the viewer, in profound and exciting ways.
